3D PRINTING
During the pandemic, like much of the world, I was forced to pivot to find work in other areas without the ability to produce theatre and other public events safely. I turned to 3D printing and decided to do my best to solve one of the most significant issues other designers and I ran into. How do I make accurate, effective scale models quickly? So, I began to research various types of period furniture and decor. Many designers can spend hours building scale furniture for models. When one is busy with multiple designs at once, this can severely hinder a designer's workflow. My answer to this was to model and create a catalog of highly detailed scale models of furniture from a wide range of periods and styles. While I initially began learning and using 3D printing for my personal model work, I soon realized certain standardized elements might be helpful. With the wonder of 3D printing, I could replicate those designs on a mass scale and offer them as a resource to my fellow designers.

MY Mission
As an artist, my mission is to be a cohesive element. I aim to complete the sentence begun by the other designers and artists working on the production. I want to provide a landscape where the lighting, costumes, sound, and music can live together as seamlessly as possible. I want to be part of the creative process that transports the viewers to new, strange, and exciting locations and makes them forget the theatre, gallery, park, or zoo they entered earlier.
